Artist Feature: Jessica Dunegan
“A balance of order and chaos.”
JESSICA DUNEGAN: I process my feelings through my artwork. Often, I visualize my emotions before I am able to articulate them. Motifs of reflection, water, and floating convey the true power of internal struggle and vulnerability. We all go through periods of instability and tension, but the courage to assess, recover, and change is beautiful. I find my technique and the resulting imagery, to be a metaphor for the journey of life: a balance of order and chaos.
All images in the gallery below are of resin, acrylic paint, and archival print on transparency on panel.
